If you are following the blog hop, this is the second INKspired blog hop and you have arrived here from Cherie Davies blog, so an extra cheery welcome to you!
Spring is finally here which means Christmas is fast approaching, hence the overload of my Christmas card designs. My schedule is tight so I know that I just have to keep plodding away in order to get my cards completed...I hope you all love Christmas as much as I do and draw some inspiration from my cards :)
This fortnight we were given quite a simple sketch, so I decided to challenge
myself by using designer series paper (something I don't use very often).
I am really happy with how
my card turned out.
I think I got a little carried
away with the snowflake
theme, but it all ties in
so nicely together that I
couldn't help myself.
Loving the snowflake
embellishment.
Think I have a new love for
designer series paper too:)
I used white embossing powder to emboss the MERRY stamp image and the 'Christmas', and 'Peace & Joy' stamps are from the Good Greetings Stamp set that is being offered in a current promotion. You will also notice that the green 'at' on the inside of the card is actually handwritten with a green galore marker.

ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful Janelle. I am now sold on this stamp set after seeing how many times it has been so beautifully used in this challenge. I love how you have perfectly matched the inside with the colours and the flags. Louise xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Louise. I have to admit, I wasn't too keen on this stamp set at first but ordered it anyway...and have to say I am loving it now that I can see how effective it is on cards :)
