INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 1

Welcome to my VERY FIRST BLOG post ever. You may be visiting me through the INKspired Blog Hop which means you have just come from Cherie Davies blog, or just checking in to my blog to see my latest creation.  Right now I am super excited and nervous at the same time, because I am extremely technologically challenged but have decided it is time to keep up with the world (or at least try to), so hope I have done this right.

I have designed a card based on the below sketch as part of the blog hop and I just love it! It is super simple, leaving plenty of room for you to add your own style to it.

I love Christmas, but always seem to get busy around November and December, so start on my Christmas cards in August.  I am all about anything Santa, you should see my house at Christmas time, so when I saw this Get Your Santa On stamp set in the Holiday Catalogue I knew I HAD to have it!  I thought the sketch worked perfect for it, and because I am often pushed for time I wanted to create something that was quick.  I have added some detail to his hat, beard and coat by using some dazzling details, but it is hard to see in the photo here. Hope you like this card as much as I liked putting it together :)

For the inside I have cut out and raised the
cute little santa hat that comes in the stamp set

A close up to show the dazzling details

There are several other artists that have prepared cards using this sketch. Please feel free to use our sketch for your next creative project, but just link the sketch back to me.  I look forward to sharing more of my work with you and seeing what you create.

Next up is Kabrina Piirlaid.....enjoy :)

    1. Thanks Christine, it is a bit frightening for me as I am very technologically challenged, but have a very supportive upline and team that helped me out. Hopefully I will get the hang of it all soon. I love the star embossing folder, one of my favourites.
