Hi and welcome again to another INKspired Blog Hop. If you are following the hop, you will have come here from Cherie Davies, a very talented lady indeed.
This fortnights sketch was again another simple one and one of my favourites. In sticking with the idea of challenging myself, I decided to add a little twist - hope you enjoy it :)
Sketch 3 that I was given to use |
I have been waiting to use my gorgeous 'All Is Calm' Designer Series Paper for a while now. When I saw this sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to do and knew it would be easy, because Stampin' Up have already matched the papers in the pack for me - yay.
So, I began my card's process by creating a very cute little accordian tag booklet, making use of the scalloped tag topper.
I love to give my family photos of my children at Christmas, so thought this may be a fantastic way to present them with an assortment of photos in a card that they can treasure for years to come. It would be a great idea to use too if you are a person that likes to give School photos or Santa photos to loved ones at Christmas.
The Holiday Home Stamp Set is a set that I wasn't sure that I would use, but ordered it anyway because I wanted the santa in the sleigh and reindeer. I decided it was time to bite the bullet and get creative with using the house stamp. I think it turned out great in the end. I clear embossed the house and then added coloured lights and a wreath.
I incorporated 2 of the patterned papers in my card and then used ribbons to match (Soft Sky and Lost Lagoon). It was missing a little something, so I added some snowflake embellishments to give it a lift.
I LOVE THIS CARD CREATION, and hope you do too.
This shows the tag accordion a bit better |
INSIDE of card has patterned paper & ribbon down the left |
Hope I have given you some inspiration.
