Inkspired Sketch Blog Hop 7 - Grateful

Ho, Ho, Ho - A cheery hello!

Welcome back to my regulars, and a warm welcome to those of you that may have hopped on over from Barbara Williams.

This weeks sketch was quite an easy one for me - thank you Teneale xx

I decided it was time to deviate away from Christmas cards this week, as most of mine are now completed and posted (hope yours are too).

I needed a card to say thank you to a very special person in my life, so decided to take this opportunity to create it.  I used some of the 'Confetti Celebration' designer paper and pulled out the hostess stamp set "Let Your Hair Down" - it contained exactly what I wanted to express to the recipient of this card.

I matched the ribbon and cardstock to colours in the patterned paper that I was using and of course I picked one of my favourite combinations - Bermuda Bay and Basic Gray.  I followed the theme of the arrows in the paper, which is why I chose to use the 'Chevron Border' punch and the arrow stamp out of the 'Borderettes' stamp set.

The circle looked a little lonely in the corner so I got a little creative and punched out a heap of arrows and arranged them behind the circle, creating a nifty little shape.  I love how it turned out, something different.

Everything I have used for my card is pictured below.  With Christmas just around the corner why not pop on over to my online store and purchase yourself a little something.  Just click on a picture and you will automatically be taken to my store......Happy Shopping xxxxx

Please be sure to follow along the blog hop by visiting the very talented Lissa Carter next :)

  4. Janelle, what a super card! I love the inside as much as the front and I'm a BIG fan of your colour scheme, too.
